  • A new star is born

Camping Félix de la Bastide has seen the work carried out for 2 years rewarded by a 3rd star. So thank you to all of you who made us the joy of their visit: by their stay, their opinion and their pleasure to discover our dear Provence, they helped us to obtain this beautiful reward.

  • For fans of walking and cycling

New! Camille and Lucas, who have just completed an internship at Felix, have prepared for you hiking, bike and mountain bike rides starting at the campsite. To be discovered now at the reception ...

  • Like nautic sports

This year, kayaks and paddles will be available for rent directly at the campsite. Then you only have to go through the remaining 30m to the beach Arthur to give you a ride on the water.

  • For the young children

The youngest will also enjoy new leisures this year with a slide at the center of the paddling pool.

  • Only for fun !

To be also discovered : a new trampoline for children and adults. Sportive holidays for the whole family to come :-)

  • Trees and even more trees ...

After nearly four weeks spent in cutting bamboos and trees, we make the holes for planting : there will be this year 22 additional trees , 60 hedges and 60 flowers. The sun keeps on shining : what a bliss !

  • See you soon !

The campsite has closed a few days ago .
Thank you all for having stayed in our beautiful region of Provence .
Also thank you to Laura , Alice and Roxanne for helping us welcoming you all this summer.
We have already gone back to the garden.
On the program : size of bamboos, plantation of new trees, hedges and flowers.
Later will come other novelties for next year ...

  • The cicadas are back

The cicadas , symbols of our beautiful Provence, arrived in early June.
In fact it is the males that sing to attract females .
This requires that the temperature is over 25 ° C and also sweet nights.
On the archaeological site of St. Blaise , you will be able to easily admire them and see everywhere on the stones the shells of their last molt.

  • The Félix new menu

That's it ! The new pizza oven is arrived and installed !
We propose you every evening during the whole season home made pizzas, frites, sausages, fresh salads, cheeseburgers, onion rings fritters, chicken nuggets, aïoli with toasts and calmar fritters to take away.

Concerning the restaurant, it is open :
    * In April, May, June, September and October: every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings
    * July and August : every evening except on Sunday
At Felix menu : of course home made pizzas but also traditional Provencal dishes ("pissaladière", chicken "à la piperade", Provencal mussels , fresh pasta with pesto, squid fritters, garlic shrimps , "aïoli", ...).
And for the "gourmets", a lot of desserts (apple pie, melty chocolate cake , cheesecake , "profiteroles" with chocolate sauce or caramel sauce, ...) with many ice creams cups to be enjoyed beginning the afternoon during the whole season, at the bar or at the restaurant.

Fresh bread and pastry service every day from 8:30 to 10:00.
Epicerie open from April the 15th.

  • Have you ever tasted "navettes" ?

For Candlemas (or candles feast), we traditionally eat pancakes. Well in Provence , we above all eat "navettes".
These are small crispy biscuits usually flavored with orange blossom that have the form of boats to symbolize the arrival of Saintes-Maries on the Provençal coast.
In Martigues on the Sunday market, you will find a pastry chef / baker who makes delicious "navettes".

  • The oursinades

During summer in Provence , people like to meet friends in ports during the "sardinades", traditional village festivals where everybody eats ... sardines ... and other seafoods with french fries. The most famous "sardinades" of the Blue Coast are at Port de Bouc for its popular side and at Martigues for its more family side .
In winter, on Sundays in January and February, people meet again friends at the "oursinades". It is still very friendly but urchins replace sardines and feasts take place at Sausset les Pins and Carry le Rouet . And for those like us who are not fans of sea urchins, you can always enjoy delicious mussels.

  • Welcome !

The 2015 reservations are at last open. Actually we had to change to a new booking software because the one that you know is no longer sold and we do not have the right to use it any longer . So to keep in touch, we have asked to recover all your contact informations and preferences. It took time with the christmas holidays but everything is now in place.
