  • A new star is born

Camping Félix de la Bastide has seen the work carried out for 2 years rewarded by a 3rd star. So thank you to all of you who made us the joy of their visit: by their stay, their opinion and their pleasure to discover our dear Provence, they helped us to obtain this beautiful reward.

  • For fans of walking and cycling

New! Camille and Lucas, who have just completed an internship at Felix, have prepared for you hiking, bike and mountain bike rides starting at the campsite. To be discovered now at the reception ...
Tips : you can also download the openrunner app - you will find customized rides

  • Like nautic sports

This year, kayaks and paddles will be available for rent directly at the campsite. Then you only have to go through the remaining 30m to the beach Arthur to give you a ride on the water.

  • Discovering or relaxing mood ?

Along with the kayaks and paddles, Félix also offers you to rent a paddle boat. Easy to put in the sea at the Plage d'Arthur (30m far away from the campsite) to discover the Figuerolles hill or get tanned

  • For the young children ... and the oldest ones

The youngest will enjoy new leisures this year with a slide at the center of the paddling pool whereas the oldest ones will also have their own slide at the biggest swimming pool

  • And to keep good vibes ...

Nothing else than a big inflatable structure for unlimited games. We have also installed tables for children and adults for all those who want to admire the players or to have a break

  • Only for fun !

To be discovered : a new trampoline for children and adults. Sportive holidays for the whole family to come :-)

  • Trees and even more trees ...

After nearly four weeks spent in cutting bamboos and trees, we make the holes for planting : there will be this year 22 additional trees , 60 hedges and 60 flowers. The sun keeps on shining : what a bliss !

  • The cicadas are back

The cicadas , symbols of our beautiful Provence, arrived in early June.
In fact it is the males that sing to attract females .
This requires that the temperature is over 25 ° C and also sweet nights.
On the archaeological site of St. Blaise , you will be able to easily admire them and see everywhere on the stones the shells of their last molt.

  • Have you ever tasted

For Candlemas (or candles feast), we traditionally eat pancakes. Well in Provence , we above all eat "navettes".
These are small crispy biscuits usually flavored with orange blossom that have the form of boats to symbolize the arrival of Saintes-Maries on the Provençal coast.
If you go to the market, have a look, you will surely find a pastry chef / baker who makes delicious "navettes".

  • The oursinades

During summer in Provence , people like to meet friends in ports during the "sardinades", traditional village festivals where everybody eats ... sardines ... and other seafoods with french fries.
In winter, on Sundays in January and February, people meet again friends at the "oursinades". It is still very friendly but urchins replace sardines and feasts take place at Sausset les Pins and Carry le Rouet . And for those like us who are not fans of sea urchins, you can always enjoy delicious mussels.
